Our Commitment to the Cosponsor

•Enlist up to 500 participants (teenagers and adult sponsors).
•Contribute up to $12,000 for project materials.
•Work with you to:
  Provide guidelines, training and other resources;
  Meet with local officials and committees as needed;
  Provide consultation on the process of material selection,
  purchase and delivery;
  Review projects with you to ensure they meet specific guidelines.
•Provide staff to work with you on finalizing preparations for the camp week.
•Facilitate the Workcamp by: Assigning work crews, distributing tools and transporting workers to and from the worksite—overseeing day-to-day operation of the camp.

Our Expectations of the Cosponsor
• Sign a formal agreement indicating your commitment to cosponsor
the Workcamp. Your contact at will provide this document early
in the development process.

•Commit a to purchase materials and supplies.
•Assist Group Workcamps Foundation in securing a lodging agreement with a
junior high, high school or similar facility suitable for the workcamp participants.

•Identify 60 to 80 homes in need of repair that are located within 30
minutes of the lodging facility.

•Provide thorough written "Work Descriptions" for each project.

•Accurately estimate materials needed.

•Work with Group Workcamps Foundation to submit materials order to
local vendors.

•Oversee purchase and delivery of materials to the worksites in
advance of the camp.

•Provide 2-3 staff or volunteers for setup week and camp week.
